Nostalgia

An idea came to me a few years ago to release some of my old tracks, since I have so many, to organize them and put them in a place where it can collect dust ’till I miss them and want to hear them again and for anyone who stumbles across my music can “catch up” and hear old material.  Some of these tracks were recorded on a Shure stage mic with a wire hanger with a sock over it to stop the Pops. Hence the creation of a Compilation named: Nostalgia Volume 1 (2002-2008) . All proceeds will go to nowhere since it will be available for free download but will sell some physical copies (recoup the cost of pressing). This will be coming out in March and more information can be found HERE. Nepharius Presents: A Mixtape

Now, this mixtape has been taking FOREVER. I had 2 covers for it and then eventually I trashed both of them and made that one up above, which I am most pleased with. The mixtape will be pressed and sold for a small amount, just to get some funds for my Simply Complex Album. It will be released in the summer. The track Ill put up is called Once Again with Maineman, straight spittin over a beautiful beat.

By the end of the year my “official” 2nd album will be out, pressed, ituned up and all of that stuff by the end of the year. I am still working on the cover art, or actually it’s in my head just need to start drawing it up. It’s going to be about a good 5 years since Rhyme(s) In Va(e)in(s) was released, and will be “featuring artist” minimal. More info on this later…

Other Projects

I am working on random tracks and projects some of them are The Zeitgeist Mixtape which will be released March 15, 2010. Paper Chasers Mixtape Volume 2 later this year, I am currently working with Kava 1 on a track, just wrote my verse, I need to record it.  Also, some on going projects with Maineman for our Logical Fear group and some things with Mystery.

The PaperCha$erz Mixtape is a collaboration between artists from Africa, Europe all the way back to the U.S. and Canada. These artists met through Indaba Music. Noted as the first rap album to be created with members of indaba, it showcases all genres, moods and styles of hip-hop; from conscious to dirty south, backpack to political. It was conceptualized by Rap Artist Kavawon, from the Rock (Vancouver Island, BC, Canada) and Hip-Hop Producer St. Paul, from the Illadelph (Philadelphia, PA, USA)
